Style sheet

Type: custom, tested in production (pass)

  • Medium phrase: "A hand-drawn mecha anime film still, widescreen 16:9: clean precise black ink outlines of two weights, hard-surface mechanical design with panel lines, rivets, vents, hydraulic pistons and armour plates, flat cel colours with hard two-tone cel shading and sharp white metallic highlights, a detailed painted industrial background, and a slight film grain." Video anchor: "Hand-drawn mecha anime animation: clean precise black outlines, hard-surface mechanical design with panel lines, rivets, vents and pistons, flat cel colours with hard two-tone shading and sharp white metallic highlights, a painted industrial background, slight film grain, heavy deliberate mechanical motion, drawn, not rendered in 3D."
  • Character design: a tall humanoid machine in matte armour with contrasting joints and one strong colour plate, a narrow angular head with a single horizontal visor, vented shoulder plates, articulated hands, exposed pistons, scuffs and scorch marks, a yellow-and-black warning stripe. Describe every plate so the drawing has fixed geometry to hold.
  • Materials / rendering: two-weight line, sharp specular highlights along armour edges, a painted bay with gantries, yellow railings, cables and fuel lines, floodlights, steam and puddles; no lettering or numerals on the machine.
  • Light: hard cool-white floodlight from one high side, warm orange work-light fill from the other, sharp cel shadows under plates, a visor glow added when it wakes.
  • Motion: the machine waking: status lights, a visor lighting, a slow heavy head turn with pistons extending, fingers closing one plate at a time, two steam bursts. Feet planted; one very slow push.
  • Stability line: "Strictly hand-drawn mecha cel animation: clean two-weight black outlines, flat colour with hard two-tone shading and sharp metallic highlights, panel lines and plates holding their exact positions, the painted background still, slight film grain, stable line art and colour, consistent mechanical design."
  • Guards: no 3D rendering, no photorealism, no soft gradient shading, no glossy chrome, no live-action look, no walking, no weapons firing, no transformation, no panel lines moving or changing, no lettering or numerals appearing on the mech.
  • Known failures: none in the test take (mech waking in its maintenance bay). A deliberate stress test for line stability on complex geometry; it held.
