Type: custom, tested in production (pass)
- Medium phrase: "Picture-book collage of hand-painted tissue paper, torn and cut and glued in overlapping layers on white paper, widescreen 16:9." Video anchor: "Painted tissue-paper collage stop-motion animation: torn and cut hand-painted paper shapes in overlapping translucent layers, flat paper pieces that slide and tilt in a gentle stepped cadence, cut and glued, not rendered."
- Character design: big simple torn-edged shapes with painted streaks; small cut-paper details (an eye, a sun) with crisp scissor edges; translucent overlaps where one colour tints another.
- Materials / rendering: visible brush texture on every piece, soft fibrous torn edges on organic shapes, crisp cut edges on small details, slight wrinkles in glued tissue, small cast shadows along top-layer edges. Distinct from the Paper Cut preset, which is clean cardstock.
- Light: soft even light from above, read only as edge shadows between layers.
- Motion: whole pieces gliding, tilting and overlapping in stepped slides; no piece changes shape; camera locked.
- Stability line: "Strictly hand-painted tissue-paper collage, torn and cut edges, translucent overlaps, painted brush texture visible throughout, stepped paper cadence, flat pieces that keep their shape and never bend, melt or re-tear, consistent collage of the subject."
- Guards: no smooth digital colour, no outlines, no gradients beyond the painted streaks, no photographic subject, no realistic water, no photorealism, no 3D rendering, no live-action look, no pieces changing shape.
- Known failures: none in the test take (whale among paper waves and fish).
