Old business

• Epic release announcement. Very community oriented. Thank you to entire team.
• Public ask for reviving the Documentation IG: Martha summarized the initiative, but we decided to punt until next call since Rosie and Mark B. were not present.

New business

• Conf planning: Punted until Melissa is available.

IG reports

• Metadata: Danny reports that at the last meeting they reviewed how they want to handle MODS name elements and compared it to the Samvera mapping document. Are focusing on MODS name element(s). Next meeting is Monday. Are interested in importing an entire ontology; Danny might have something tp sh
• IR IG: Meeting on the 28th.
• Security IG: No one available to report.

CLAW:

Mark reported on the UPEI CANARIE application and its potential to boost CLAW development. Danny mentioned some recent work on the CLAW installer. He also said that he's planning a community sprint on migrations as soon as he finishes up the basic Flysystem work that will allow better integration between Drupal and Fedora. "This is going to add quite a bit of Wow factor to Islandora."

Camps

• EU is just wrapping up, HRM is moving forward, lots of attendees now.

Round table

• Martha: Asked about using more general language to describe what the ICG projects are doing, e.g., "Islandora for all.", which would be appropriate for high-level summaries or fact sheets. The Board might be interested in this rebranding of the ICG initiatives.
• David: Spec is almost ready to be finalized; still some work coordinating with the implementations to see where they're at. David updated the relationship between Duraspace and the IF (Danny and Mark are in the Leadership group). Brief update OR. Shout out to Jon Green's CLAW Tech Overview session, it was excellent.
• Will: DGI has ported the document SP, audio SP, and gsearcher to their Drupal 8 Islandora. VM for testing is at http://www.discoverygarden.ca/blog/2017/11/3/announcing-drupal-8-islandora-port - feedback is welcome.
• Mark: OR went well, lots of interest in Islandora and CLAW. Lots of CLAW stickers given away, need to take lots to next OR.
• Bryan: FSU is starting to work with ORCHiD; Mark says SFU is as well. They agreed to touch base offline.

Several people didn't have the zoom link. Maybe distributing the link was discussed at last call, but maybe we should review how the link will be distributed.
