Images in a stack or taken in live view show vertical stripes. These can appear as groups. If the stripes cover the whole FOV, the most likely cause is that the galvo frequency is set to a value that does not properly average the illumination out.
This can be caused by overheating galvos, overheating galvo drivers or problems with the analog output of the National Instruments hardware. Please power cycle the galvos and make sure (using an oscilloscope) that the
