Kururi Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Kururi (Kururi: Visual Timer for Kids) is an iPhone and iPad app developed and provided by Hajime Nakamura as an individual. This page explains what the app does and does not collect.

In short: Kururi collects nothing. The app has no account registration. It never asks for your name, email address, or phone number, and there is no login.

Everything stays on your device

Your timer settings, presets (names, emoji, durations), routines, and display preferences are stored only on your device.

  • They are never sent to the developer's servers (the app has no such server)
  • Deleting the app deletes the on-device data

No analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs

The app includes no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no tracking SDKs. It does not measure how you use it and sends nothing about you or your device to the developer or any third party.

Notifications (local, opt-in)

If you turn on "Notify when finished while in another app" in Settings, the app asks for permission to show notifications and schedules them on your device only so you are told when a timer or routine step finishes while the app is in the background. No push notification server is involved, and nothing is sent outside your device. You can turn this off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

Purchases (In-App Purchase)

Some features are available through "Kururi Pro", a one-time purchase via Apple's App Store (not a subscription). Payment is processed by Apple; the developer never receives payment details such as credit card numbers. Whether you have purchased is determined from the App Store entitlement on your device — no developer server is involved. Information about App Store purchases is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy.

App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and ads

The app does not request ATT permission. It does not obtain the advertising identifier (IDFA) used to track you across other companies' apps and websites, does not track you, and shows no ads.

Deleting your data

  • Delete presets or routine steps: you can delete them inside the app at any time
  • Delete all data: deleting the app deletes all data on your device

There is no data held anywhere else, so no request or procedure is needed.

Children's privacy

Kururi is designed to be used with children, for example during morning routines or in classrooms. The app does not collect any information from anyone, including children. It contains no ads, no external links aimed at children, and no way to contact others.

Sharing with third parties

We do not collect your data, so we do not provide, share, or sell it to anyone.
