Teleprompter Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Just Talk Teleprompter is an iPhone and iPad app developed and provided by Hajime Nakamura as an individual. This page explains what the app does and does not collect.
The app has no account registration. It never asks for your name, email address, or phone number, and there is no login.
The app does not collect any data, and nothing you do in it is sent to the developer. The app has no server of its own, and it contains no analytics, no crash-reporting service, and no advertising.
- Your scripts are stored only on your device
- Your voice is used only on your device, and only while the script is following you
- The videos you record are saved to your own Photos library
The camera is used to show you on screen and to record your video. The microphone is used to record sound for the video and to let the script follow your voice. Video and audio are never sent to an external server.
Following your voice uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. Your speech is processed on your device and is not sent to the developer or to any third party.
The first time you use voice follow in a language, iOS may download speech recognition data for that language from Apple. This is an Apple system feature governed by Apple's Privacy Policy; it does not send your voice or your scripts.
- Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
When you finish recording, the video is saved to your Photos library. The app asks only for permission to add to Photos; it cannot view or read your existing photos and videos.
The app stores your scripts only on your device and does not sync them to the developer's or any third party's cloud.
If you have iOS's own "iCloud Backup" turned on, Apple's system may include this app's data in your device backup, allowing it to be restored (e.g., when you switch devices). Videos saved to Photos follow your own Photos and iCloud Photos settings. These are Apple features governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (the developer cannot see the contents).
Some limits are removed by "Pro", a one-time purchase via Apple's App Store (not a subscription). Payment is processed by Apple; the developer never receives payment details such as credit card numbers. Whether you have purchased is determined from the App Store entitlement on your device — no developer server is involved. Information about App Store purchases is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy.
The app does not request ATT permission. It does not obtain the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not track you, and shows no ads.
- Delete a script: touch and hold a script in the list and choose Delete
- Delete everything in the app: deleting the app deletes the scripts stored on your device
- Recorded videos: these are in your Photos library; delete them in the Photos app
There is nothing to request from the developer, because the developer holds none of your data.
The app is not directed to children under 13. It does not collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children.
We do not provide, share, or sell your data. There is no data to share.
If we update this policy, we will post it on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
