Golems

Golems were the workers of the Ancients. Some outlasted the war beyond the portal, but without a heart, so you must give each one a Golem Core when you call it. Golems refine ore, run the Golem Research Center and pull trains. Their wild relatives, the War Golems, guard the ruins as enemies.

Calling a Golem

The Golem call at the Portal of the Ancient opens with the research Golemcraft (Epoch 2). Golemcraft also unlocks Gold Bar, the Golem Core, Crushed Ore and the Stone Golems Refinery.

Stone Golems Refinery

Golems crush ore before it goes into the furnace. Four ore become six crushed ore, and each crushed ore smelts into one plate. That is 50 % more plates from the same ore field.

War Golems

War Golems are not your workers. They went wild after the war and now guard the ruins. A War Golem sleeps as a pile of rubble and rises when you or your factory come close to its ruin. Defeated, it leaves a Research Capsule. See Enemies.
