Vehicles
Vehicles get you across the steppe fast, carry cargo in their trunk, and the later ones fight for you. All three are items: you place them in the world, drive them, and pick them up again.

When you pick up a vehicle, it goes into your inventory together with everything in its trunk. What does not fit drops on the ground in front of you. You cannot pick it up while someone has its trunk open.
In the Armored Car and the Rune Tank you sit inside and cannot be seen.
Put fuel into the trunk (crouch and Use). The vehicle burns it while you drive; when it runs out, you are dropped out with the message "The vehicle is out of fuel". The Steam Buggy and the Armored Car burn the same fuels as your machines, such as Wood or Coal. The Rune Tank runs only on Batteries.
In Creative mode, driving costs no fuel.
The Armored Car and the Rune Tank fire on their own while you drive. They aim like a tower: first the nearest attack group, then a War Golem, then a nest within range. Ammunition comes from the trunk, so keep cartridges or rockets in it. Each shot uses one item, taken in trunk order, and nothing is used while no target is in range. The machine gun deals 5 damage per shot with a Cartridge, 8 with a Steel Cartridge and 16 with a Uranium Cartridge.
Vehicles do not take damage: not from creatures, missed shots, falling or water.
Driving makes noise like a running machine. A long drive past a nest can draw an attack group to where you are. See Noise and Unrest.
