Description:

Mapplugins return geospatial data for various patches on a planet and at different resolutions.

It would be nice if each mapplugin had it's own cache storing the information that the mapplugin supplies. This could be built offline (outside of DOUG) so that it doesn't require viewing in DOUG to request the data.

Some sort of compositing function would then be needed.
