Summary: init check for broken syntax in config file

Description:

This is a request for a syntax checker when processing config files. Some broken syntax (such as a block with an unexpected name) can only be a LogStatus message (shown during verbose output) and then other, more dire errors (such as mis-matched brackets) should be a LogWarning message.

This would help when troubleshooting bad config files.
