Add the ability for the dsp_record plugin to be queried for current status, such as "recording" or "ready", etc.

mark One thing I suggest would be helpful in this regard is an interface to an updating segment time and movie time while recording. Seeing the times increment and stop gives the user a good sense IMO that recording is happening/stopped.
