Omron PLC/HMI NX102 Connectivity with Edge Gateway

How to connect to the Omron NX102 controller using the Edge Gateway.

Connector type: Physical device connector — uses the OPC UA, Modbus TCP, or EthernetIP device driver and is added as a device connection on the Edge Gateway.

Capabilities of the NX102 Controller

The Omron NX102 has 2 available Ethernet ports. One port can be set as the OPC UA communication port; you can then use the second port as a Modbus TCP or EthernetIP port.

The NJ and NX series controllers support the common protocols listed above, so you're able to utilize the off-the-shelf Edge Gateway drivers — Modbus TCP, OPC UA, and EthernetIP — in order to facilitate communications with the controllers.
