Training: Invite a User to an Application

What you'll learn: how to invite a user into your application with a role. You need: Administrator access type, any application, at least one role (create one first). Time: 3 minutes.

Steps

1. Go to Left menu → App Admin Home. (Fallback: header Search "Home".)
2. Click INVITE USER in the quick-action row. The Invite User to … Tenant dialog opens.
3. Type the person's Email.
4. Open the Roles dropdown and check one or more roles (or Select all).
5. Click the orange + to send the invitation.

If the Roles dropdown shows "No results found", the application has no roles yet — create one first, then return here.

Check your work

Go to Left menu → Access Control → App Users: the invited user appears in the table. The USERS KPI tile on Home counts them after they activate.

Try it yourself

Open the dialog, browse the Roles dropdown, then click ✗ to close without inviting anyone.
