Training: Create an Application

What you'll learn: how to create a new application (UI label: "Tenant") and choose its application type. You need: Administrator access type, enterprise admin application. Time: 5 minutes.

Before you start

Pick the application type — it can't be changed after creation:

Application type (UI: Tenant Type)	Use it for
Application	Running a Fuuz app and plugins (limited designer tools in production)
Application Development	Building an app — includes the Fuuz build tools
Custom	Full set of Fuuz custom application tools
Integration	Data exchange between Fuuz apps and external systems

Steps

1. Go to Left menu → Environment Structure → Tenants. (Fallback: search "Tenants" in the header.)
2. Click + in the toolbar. The Create a new Tenant dialog opens.
3. Type the application Name.
4. Pick the Organization it belongs to.
5. Pick the Tenant Type (see table above).
6. Click the orange + to create.
7. A message confirms: "Your tenant is now being provisioned. This process typically takes several minutes. The tenant will become active once provisioning is complete." Click ✗ to close it.

Check your work

Search the table for your application: it first shows Tenant Status Provisioning with Active ✗. After a few minutes it becomes Active with Active ✓ — then you can switch into it. Open its detail page to see usage metrics and the USERS tab where you grant access.

Try it yourself

Create an Application Development application named TRAINING <yourname> under your sandbox organization, then open the tenant switcher (left menu TENANT block) and switch into it.
