Training: Deactivate (Retire) an Application

What you'll learn: how to retire an application tenant by deactivating it, and why there's no hard-delete button. You need: Administrator access type, in the enterprise admin tenant. Time: 3 minutes.

Before you start

Fuuz does not hard-delete application tenants from the UI — retiring one means deactivating it (a reversible status change). On the Tenants table the trash icon stays disabled, and the tenant detail page offers only Save with an Active / Tenant Status toggle.

Steps

  1. Go to Left menu → Environment Structure → Tenants. (Fallback: header Search → "Tenants".)
  2. Filter by Name, click search, then click the tenant's name to open its detail. Tenants filtered
  3. On the DETAILS tab, set Tenant Status to Inactive (and/or uncheck Active). Tenant detail
  4. Click Save (💾).

Check your work

In the Tenants table the application's Active column shows ✗ and Tenant Status reads Inactive. Users can no longer use it. Reactivate at any time by setting it Active again and saving.

Try it yourself

Filter the Tenants table by Tenant Type or Organization to see how applications are grouped, and note the Tenant Usage Metrics columns (Data Models, Data Flows) that show what each application contains before you retire it.
