Training: Export Data

What you'll learn: how to export records from any data model to CSV or JSON and retrieve the file. You need: Administrator access type, enterprise admin application. Time: 6 minutes.

Steps

1. Go to Left menu → Data Management → Export Data. (Fallback: search "Export Data" in the header.)
2. Click the Data Model dropdown and type the model's exact name from the start (matching case, e.g. AccessControlPolicy) — or scroll the list — then pick it.
3. In the field tree, expand edges → node and check the fields you want in the file.
4. (Optional) Build a Filter with +RULE / +GROUP to limit rows.
5. Scroll down and pick the Export Format: CSV or JSON.
6. Click PREVIEW DATA AND EXPORT at the top. The Preview Export Data and Confirm dialog shows the estimated row count, file size, and first rows.
7. Click the orange confirm button. The export runs in the background and the form clears for your next export.

Get the file

8. Scroll down and click VIEW EXPORT HISTORIES.
9. Click your export's Label (auto-named <Model>_<timestamp>) to open its history form.
10. Click the Download Link. Note the Download Link Expires On date (~30 days) — download promptly; you can re-run the export from this form any time.

Check your work

The history form shows Export Status Completed, the processed row count, and a data preview matching your file.

Recurring extract? Save the setup under VIEW EXPORT CONFIGURATIONS instead of rebuilding it each time.
