Training Install a Fuuz Package

Training: Install a Fuuz Package

What you'll learn: how to browse and install Fuuz packages — prebuilt accelerators (MES, WMS, and more) and your own .fuuz files. You need: Administrator access type in an application (UI label "Tenant"). Time: 5 minutes (plus package install time).

Before you start

A package bundles data models, screens, flows, and configuration into one installable unit. Accelerator packages give you a running start (MES, WMS, quality, maintenance and other manufacturing domains); manual installation imports a .fuuz file exported from another application.

Steps

  1. Go to Left menu → App Admin Home, and in Getting Started click the "Install a Fuuz Package" icon. (Fallback: header Search → "Fuuz Packages".)
  2. The page has three tabs: INSTALLED PACKAGES, AVAILABLE PACKAGES, and MANUAL INSTALLATION.
  3. Open AVAILABLE PACKAGES and click the search button to list the accelerator catalog. Show Latest filters to current versions. Available packages
  4. Check a package row and install it; the platform provisions its components into your application.
  5. To import your own package, open MANUAL INSTALLATION: drop a Package File (.fuuz) or type a Package URL. Standalone controls whether it installs without linking to a catalog package. Manual installation

Check your work

INSTALLED PACKAGES lists what's in your application with versions. The package's models, screens, and flows appear in their usual places (Data Models, Screens, Data Flows).

Try it yourself

Browse the AVAILABLE PACKAGES list and open a package's row to see its description and version history before committing. In a sandbox application, install one and explore what it adds — then check Components → Modules to see the modules it brought along.
