Automatic turn signals

AutoBlinkerControl

0: Off (Bluetooth one-touch remains). 1: Hold Bluetooth signals started at or below 5 km/h until the turn completes; indicate from the ATC audioTurn cue through intersection stops until the vehicle turns and the steering returns near center. 2: Also indicate during actual ATC lane changes, excluding waiting. Same direction cancels a hold; opposite direction switches. Stock lever has priority. Requires a supported Jetson USB-CAN/B1 vehicle.

Behavior

Controls physical lamps on supported Jetson USB-CAN/B1 vehicles. Operating the stock lever ends the owned request.

  • 0: Disables automatic control; Bluetooth one-touch remains available.
  • 1: Holds signals started by Bluetooth at or below 5 km/h until turn completion, and indicates from the ATC audioTurn cue through intersection stops until the vehicle turns and the steering returns near center.
  • 2: Also indicates from actual ATC lane-change start through completion. Waiting does not activate the lamps. An approach bend does not finish the hold while navigation still places the same turn ahead. A previously confirmed ATC indication that stays off on both sides for 1.5 seconds may retry once while its original request remains valid. Unconfirmed starts, driver cancellation and communication failures do not retry.

Usage

Map remote buttons to Turn on left/right indicator. During a hold, the same button cancels and the opposite button switches direction.

Check illumination and cancellation while parked first. Basic one-touch remains available while driving; this setting does not change steering or lane-change admission.

Reference

Bluetooth turn completion requires steering at least 30 degrees toward the selected turn, then returning within 10 degrees for 0.4 seconds while moving. Departure alone does not cancel; the maximum hold is five minutes. ATC turns also require at least 20 degrees of measured heading change toward the turn while moving. Stopping or losing turn desire alone does not cancel. Waiting requires continued lateral permission; driver cancellation, navigation cancellation before physical entry, and stale inputs still release the request.

USB-CAN requests the initial blink; the existing vehicle indicator-hold function maintains it. Input, vehicle-state or communication loss expires the hold request. A hold request is cancelled if initial illumination is not confirmed within four seconds. A rapid opposite input waits for the current OEM sequence to end, keeping only the latest request for at most 3.2 seconds. Cancelling a hold may still allow the remaining OEM flashes to finish. Existing lane-change settings may react to the actual lamp input.
