WardWort

WardWort grows in pots along every stilt and railing of The Ink Well. The InkKeepers rub its pungent leaves on corks and page edges to hide the scent of ink from the InkDrinkers.

Hiding the Ink

The InkKeepers are no fighters. When the InkDrinkers come whining out of the Void, they protect the Well the way a beekeeper tends a hive, with WardWort on every railing and MordantMaples smoke along the punt routes.
