SalveSallows
SalveSallows are the healing willows of The Song Sanctuaries, sung into being by the SeedSingers. Their remedies are said to heal a little more gently than their ingredients alone would explain.

A SalveSallow is a willow, low and wide, its long branches trailing in the water like loose threads from a hem. In spring its soft catkins open, and they are said to hum as they do.
The best SeedSingers are prized not for the size of their harvest, but for the precision of their tuning, for growing exactly the remedy that will heal. Each SalveSallow is sung with the shape of the remedy it will one day give, so no two trees in a grove are quite the same.
A grove sung full of life falters first and worst when the Void draws near. To watch a SeedSinger stand among SalveSallows that have stopped answering their voice is to understand what the Sanctuaries stand to lose.
