PlotWeave is a local-first story bible for fiction writers. It tracks your characters, timeline, maps, items, relationships, lore, and continuity as your story evolves, stitches your scene prose into a manuscript, can build a whole world from a draft or an AI assistant, and can carry a series forward into a sequel.
Everything is stored privately in your browser (IndexedDB). No account, no backend, no internet connection required. Run it in a browser or as a desktop app.
This wiki mirrors the illustrated User Guide in the repository. The guide has screenshots; the wiki is organised for looking one thing up.

Everything in PlotWeave is read relative to an event. The pill next to the world name and the event bar along the bottom are two views of the same time cursor. Move it, and every screen answers "what is true at this exact moment?" — where each character is, what they carry, who is alive, which places are ruined, how relationships stand.
Changing the cursor never edits your story. See Core Concepts.
