Corkboard
The Corkboard is an index-card view of your whole story — the classic way to see structure at a glance and shuffle it.
Each chapter is a column; each scene (event) is a card showing its title, synopsis, POV character, and status.

Every card carries a status pill, and you can change it right on the card:
Idea → Outline → Draft → Revised → Final
The same statuses drive the Scene Status panel on the Dashboard and the status colouring in the Character Arc grid.
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Drag a card within a column | Reorders scenes inside that chapter |
| Drag a card to another column | Moves the scene to that chapter |
| Click a card's title | Jumps to that scene in the chapter detail, with the time cursor set to it |
The timeline order updates to match. It is the same set of events as the Timeline, shown as a board — reorder here or there and both stay in sync.
Reordering is a single undoable action: reordering two events puts both back, never half the swap. See Undo, Redo & Recent Changes.
The Corkboard is a writing screen, so reading mode removes it — along with its address, so typing the URL in returns you to the dashboard.
- Timeline & Events — the same events as a list
- Structure Board — the same scenes against a beat sheet
- Manuscript — the same scenes as continuous prose
