Library
Library on the world selector lists story bibles built from published books and downloads them straight into your browser.
Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. A downloaded world is an ordinary world you own outright — edit it, export it, or delete it like any other.

- Click Library on the world selector.
- Each entry shows its cast, chapter and event counts, and the download size.
- Click the entry to download the world.
Images are a separate download. Map images and portraits are much larger than the structural data, so they sit behind their own With images button rather than coming along by default — useful on a phone or a slow connection.
Books whose cover is a linked image show it on the card. That image is fetched from wherever it is hosted, so opening the Library makes a request to that site. A cover that cannot be loaded simply goes missing rather than showing a broken frame.
Books whose artwork lives inside the image bundle stay text-only here — drawing them would mean downloading the very bundle the With images button exists to make optional.
Library worlds open in reading mode, at their first moment rather than fully revealed, so nothing is given away before you have read a word.
Set the chapter cursor to where you have read up to and PlotWeave hides everything the story has not introduced yet — characters, items, places, lore, subplot names, and knowledge facts — across the whole app. Move the cursor forward and they appear, in the order the book introduces them.
PlotWeave remembers your place in each book, and the world card on your shelf says "Chapter 5 of 17" with a progress bar.
Read the full behaviour on Reading Mode.
As soon as one world is in reading mode, the world selector splits into two shelves:
- Your worlds — the ones you are writing. The New World tile lives here.
- Reading — downloaded books, below.
A shelf of downloaded books therefore never buries your own work. Turning reading mode off in a world's settings moves it back up to Your worlds, since at that point you are editing rather than reading it. With nothing in reading mode there is one list and no headings at all.
Downloading a world you already have replaces your copy and discards any changes you made in it. PlotWeave asks first. Use it deliberately when you want the original back.
They carry no text from the books. They are structural references only: characters, chapters, events, places, relationships, and lore.
They are unofficial and fan-made, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the authors or publishers.
