Chapter Diff
Compare chapters shows exactly what changed between any two points in the story — who moved, who gained or lost items, who died, and how relationships shifted.
Open it from the Compare control on the chapter bar, available whenever a time cursor is set.
The diff opens comparing the active moment against the preceding one. Use the picker at the top to compare against any other point in the world; the diff updates immediately.
Every character whose location changed, with the before and after.
Every relationship whose label, strength, sentiment, or active state shifted.
Every item that moved between locations or inventories.
Each section marks entries as added, removed, changed, or unchanged, so a large diff can be skimmed for the parts that matter.
Click a row to jump to the relevant entity with the time cursor set to the compared moment.

The diff shows nothing. No snapshots differ between those two moments — all state is being inherited. Compare points further apart.
A character I know moved isn't listed. Confirm a snapshot recorded the new location at that event. Updating only the movement waypoints without changing the snapshot location leaves the recorded position unchanged.
