Accessories

Standard accessories provide additional build customisation outside the main weapon and armor slots.

They are equipped through the Equipment section of /system.

Standard Accessory Types

  • Ring
  • Necklace
  • Bracelet
  • Earring

These standard accessory types do not currently require a particular base class.

Magic Orbs are caster offhands rather than standard accessories.

Accessory Materials

All four standard accessory forms currently share the same material-effect ranges.

Material Identity
Iron Defense
Gold Max Mana
Diamond Max Health
Amethyst Magical Might
Emerald Magical Mending
Quartz Critical Strike Chance

Current Material Ranges

Rank Iron Defense Gold Mana Diamond Health Amethyst Might Emerald Mending Quartz Crit Chance
E 3–5 5–8 5–10 3–5 2–4 0.2–0.3
D 8–12 10–16 15–25 6–10 5–7 0.4–0.6
C 15–22 20–30 30–45 12–18 8–12 0.6–0.9
B 30–45 35–50 55–80 20–28 13–19 0.8–1.2
A 50–70 55–75 90–130 31–41 20–28 1.2–1.8
S 80–110 80–110 140–200 48–62 30–40 1.6–2.4

These are current Blacksmith material bonuses.

Material bonuses and later enchantments are separate systems.

For example:

  • Iron jewellery can naturally provide Defense from its material.
  • The normal Defense enchantment itself does not apply to Rings or accessories.
  • Max Health enchantments on accessories use reduced item scaling rather than chestplate-sized rolls.

Accessory Enchanting

Accessories can receive many flexible modifiers, including compatible:

  • Elemental Damage
  • Weapon / Physical / Skill / Magic / Projectile Damage depending on modifier
  • Critical stats
  • Max Health %
  • Dodge
  • Elemental Defense
  • Movement Speed
  • Mana
  • Magical Might
  • Magical Mending

Because several accessories can be equipped simultaneously, modifier strength is reduced compared with major armor or weapon pieces where appropriate.

See Enchanting and Modifiers.

Upgrades and Core Sockets

Standard Rings, Necklaces, Bracelets and Earrings currently:

  • Do not have a standard +1 to +10 upgrade path
  • Do not use the standard Core-socket roll

Their progression therefore comes primarily from:

  • Rank
  • Material
  • Base stats
  • Enchantments and modifiers
