Dungeons

Dungeons are accessed through:

/system → Dungeon

The Dungeon tab opens the Gate Scanner, where you can scan for Gates, choose a Gate to enter, manage cleared Gates and send completed Gates for Mining.

Ranked Dungeon Catalogue

For the current E–A procedural Dungeon themes, enemy families, bosses, elemental matchups and rare boss Runestones, see Dungeon Catalogue.

Gate Scanner

Each scan generates 12 Gate offers:

  • 6 Free Gates
  • 6 Paid Gates

Free Gates cost nothing to enter.

Paid Gates require either money or Gems, depending on the Gate.

Refreshing the Scanner

You receive 2 free refreshes per calendar day.

The free-refresh count resets at midnight server time.

After using both free refreshes, another refresh costs:

100 Gems

Refreshing replaces the current scanned Gate offers with a new set.

What Ranks Can Appear?

The scanner expands as your Hunter Rank increases.

It can also offer a Gate one rank above your current Hunter Rank.

Hunter Rank Normal Gate Ranks That Can Appear
E E, D
D E, D, C
C E, D, C, B
B E, D, C, B, A
A E, D, C, B, A, S
S+ E, D, C, B, A, S

Once S-Rank Gates are available, the scanner can choose between multiple different S-Rank dungeon variants.

Rare Event Gates

The scanner also has a rare chance to offer special Slime Event Gates.

These are separate from the Spawn Gates that physically appear around spawn.

Event Gate Paid Scanner Cost
Silver Slime Gate $50,000
Super Silver Slime Gate $250,000
King Silver Slime Gate $500,000

These Event Gates are money-only when purchased from the scanner.

They are not sent to Mining after completion.

Paid Gate Costs

Normal paid Gates can be purchased using either money or Gems.

Gate Rank Money Gems
E $2,500 25
D $5,000 50
C $12,500 75
B $25,000 100
A $50,000 150
S $100,000 200

The Free side of the scanner does not charge an entry price.

Starting a Dungeon

You can have only one active Gate at a time.

Starting a Gate:

  1. consumes that scanned Gate offer;
  2. makes it your active Gate;
  3. starts the dungeon instance.

You must either clear or abandon the active Gate before starting another.

Mining completed Gates does not prevent you from starting a new Gate.

Party Size

Dungeons can be entered:

  • solo, or
  • with a party of up to 6 players.

PvP is disabled inside normal dungeons.

You enter using your own equipment and inventory.

Dungeon Lives

Lives determine how many attempts the party has inside the dungeon.

Dungeon Rank Lives
E 2
D 1
C 1
B 1
A 1
S 1

E-Rank Dungeons intentionally provide an additional life to make the introductory dungeon experience more forgiving.

Once a player is out of lives, they are removed from the dungeon rather than continuing as a spectator.

Entering and Leaving

Normal dungeon instances:

  • keep your inventory;
  • restore your Health and Food when you enter;
  • return your previous Health and Food state when you leave;
  • clear existing potion effects when entering.

If you disconnect inside a dungeon, the current offline timeout is approximately 5 minutes before you are removed from the instance.

To leave manually, you can use:

/md leave

The normal server exit options such as /spawn can also remove you from the dungeon.

Leaving before the dungeon has been cleared abandons the active Gate.

Clearing a Dungeon

A normal Gate is cleared by defeating its dungeon boss.

Once the boss is defeated:

  1. the active Gate is marked as cleared;
  2. the active Gate slot becomes available again;
  3. the cleared Gate is placed into your Cleared Gates storage if space is available;
  4. that cleared Gate can then be sent for Mining.

Cleared Gate Storage

You can store up to:

14 Cleared Gates

If all 14 storage slots are full when a dungeon is cleared:

  • the dungeon is still considered completed;
  • but no Mining reward is created for that Gate.

You can manually discard a stored cleared Gate if you no longer want it.

Discarding a Gate gives no Mining rewards.

Abandoning a Gate

An active Gate can be abandoned from the Dungeon menu.

Abandoning:

  • removes the active Gate;
  • frees you to start another Gate;
  • gives no Mining reward.

Leaving a normal dungeon before its boss has been defeated also causes that Gate to be abandoned.

Gate Mining

Cleared normal Gates can be sent to Mining Teams.

Mining represents extracting resources from a dungeon after it has been cleared.

Open the Mining section from the Dungeon menu to:

  • view your Mining Teams;
  • assign cleared Gates;
  • see remaining extraction time;
  • rush an extraction;
  • claim completed rewards.

Mining operates independently from your active Gate, so you can continue running dungeons while other Gates are being extracted.

Mining Teams

Every player begins with:

3 Mining Teams

Up to 3 additional teams can be permanently unlocked.

Team Unlock
Team 1 Free
Team 2 Free
Team 3 Free
Team 4 500 Gems
Team 5 500 Gems
Team 6 500 Gems

Maximum:

6 Mining Teams

A completed extraction can be clicked to claim its rewards.

Mining Times and Mana Crystals

The higher the Gate Rank, the longer extraction takes and the more Mana Crystals it can produce.

Gate Rank Mining Time Mana Crystals
E 5 minutes 16–32
D 10 minutes 32–64
C 20 minutes 64–96
B 45 minutes 96–128
A 1 hour 30 minutes 128–160
S 2 hours 128–256

Mana Crystals are one of the main resources extracted from cleared Gates.

See Items and Resources.

Bonus Mining Rewards

Mining also has rare chances to produce additional rewards.

Depending on Gate Rank, these can include:

  • matching-rank Essence Stones;
  • Gems;
  • money;
  • a matching-tier Custom Recipe.

S-Rank Mining can also produce bonus Gems, money and Tier 6 recipes.

Exact bonus chances are intentionally not displayed.

Rush Extraction

An active Mining Team can be rushed using Gems.

The rush price is based on the amount of extraction time remaining:

5 Gems per remaining minute

For a freshly started extraction, this means:

Gate Rank Full-Time Rush Cost
E 25 Gems
D 50 Gems
C 100 Gems
B 225 Gems
A 450 Gems
S 600 Gems

The cost falls as the Mining timer counts down.

Quick Dungeon Flow

  1. Use /system.
  2. Open Dungeon.
  3. Scan or refresh your Gates.
  4. Choose one of the 6 Free or 6 Paid offers.
  5. Enter solo or with up to 6 players.
  6. Defeat the dungeon boss.
  7. The cleared Gate enters your Cleared Gate storage.
  8. Assign it to a Mining Team.
  9. Wait for extraction or Rush it with Gems.
  10. Claim the Mining rewards.
