Armor

DaemoniaCraft uses three main standard armor styles:

  • Heavy Armor
  • Light Armor
  • Spellcaster Armor

Each style contains:

  • Helmet
  • Chestplate
  • Leggings
  • Boots

The armor style determines its defensive profile and which classes can use it.

Armor Styles

Armor Style Classes Approximate Defense Profile
Heavy Armor Tanker, Fighter 100% baseline
Light Armor Fighter, Assassin ~67.5% of Heavy
Spellcaster Armor Spellcaster, Support ~45% of Heavy

These percentages describe the intended relative defensive chassis before material choices and other item bonuses are considered.

Heavy Armor

Heavy Armor is the most defensive standard armor style.

It is intended for:

Heavy Armor provides the highest base Defense potential of the three standard armor styles.

Light Armor

Light Armor is intended for:

It sacrifices some raw Defense compared with Heavy Armor.

Light Armor also retains an innate Dodge identity, supporting more mobile and evasive builds.

Spellcaster Armor

Spellcaster Armor is intended for:

It has the lowest raw Defense chassis of the three standard armor styles, leaving more of the build's power budget for magical, support and utility-oriented item choices.

Armor Rank

Standard armor can be created from E Rank through S Rank.

As armor rank increases:

  • Base-stat potential increases
  • Crafting requirements increase
  • Higher-rank materials and improvements become more valuable

Materials

Armor can be created using different materials.

Material choice changes the additional identity of the finished item rather than simply changing its appearance.

Detailed material bonuses will be covered separately.

Equipment Modifiers

Armor can receive additional modifiers, but not every modifier is compatible with every armor style.

For example, offensive elemental modifiers are not universally available on the most defensive equipment types.

Modifier compatibility and scaling will be documented on the dedicated equipment-modifier page.
