Equipment
Equipment is one of DaemoniaCraft's main character-progression systems.
Your equipment determines a large part of your combat build alongside your class, Attributes and Stats.
Standard equipment is available from E Rank through S Rank.
Higher-rank equipment has stronger base-stat potential and is intended for progressively stronger content.
| Equipment Rank | Main Progression Band |
|---|---|
| E | Entry equipment |
| D | Early class progression |
| C | Developing builds |
| B | Mid-to-high progression |
| A | High progression |
| S | Endgame standard equipment |
See Ranks for character rank progression.
DaemoniaCraft's standard equipment system is divided into several groups:
- Weapons
- Armor
- Accessories
- Shields
- Caster offhands
Standard shield forms include:
- Buckler
- Kite Shield
- Tower Shield
- Runic Shield
Different shield forms are intended for different defensive styles.
Caster offhands include:
- Tome
- Magic Orb
These are used alongside compatible magical weapons and classes.
Equipment can have a Required Class.
A player cannot use equipment that does not allow their current class.
E-Rank starter equipment is generally unrestricted, allowing new Hunters to use equipment before and immediately after class selection.
From D Rank onward, standard weapons and armor become much more class-specific.
See Weapons and Armor for the current class compatibility of each equipment group.
Two items with the same rank and equipment form do not necessarily have identical stats.
Equipment can vary through:
- Rank
- Equipment form
- Material
- Base-stat rolls
- Additional equipment modifiers
- Later improvement systems
The exact strength of an item should therefore be judged from its actual stats rather than its name alone.
Current player-facing equipment sources include:
- E-Rank starter equipment
- Class-selection starter equipment
- Blacksmith crafting
- Boss Chests
See Equipment Sources for more information.
Rings and other accessories are equipped through the Equipment section of /system.
