Players and configured humanoids can receive A+, A−, B+, B−, AB+, AB−, O+, or O−. Other blood-bearing creatures normally use animal blood.

Typing

Anti-A, Anti-B, and Anti-D reagents must all be applied to resolve a complete human result. Anti-D supplies the Rh sign. Results can be stored as player Blood Knowledge and written into a Clipboard/Medical Report.

Compatibility

Human transfusion follows ABO/Rh compatibility: O− is the broad donor, AB+ the broad recipient, and Rh-negative recipients cannot accept Rh-positive blood. Animal blood is not a substitute for human compatibility.

Vaccine host fit

Blood type and Rh can affect vaccine quality/host compatibility. Some mutation tags can demand a particular Rh-related treatment condition, so an exact sequence may still perform differently on two patients.

Stale knowledge

Knowledge is invalidated when a subject's blood identity changes. This prevents an old cached test from remaining correct after commands/addons modify the entity.
