Early field medicine

Craft the Research Journal first. It permanently records discoveries and shows visual recipes as related equipment is obtained. Build a basic diagnostic kit: Thermometer, Stethoscope, Pulse Oximeter, Otoscope, Mirror, Reflex Hammer, Swab, Clipboard, and Medical Report. Together they reveal different parts of a patient instead of collapsing diagnosis into one universal scanner.

Blood work begins with Wooden Needle, then progresses through Black Steel Needle, Hardened Needle, Syringe, Test Tube, and the three typing reagents. Patient knowledge can become stale when the subject's blood data changes, so old results may need to be measured again.

Building the laboratory

The main progression chain is:

  1. Produce Black Steel Ingot and its components.
  2. Assemble engineering parts such as Laboratory Frame, Precision Mechanism, and Electronic Control Unit.
  3. Build the Centrifuge, Incubator, and Microscope.
  4. Add the Barrel Press, Chemical Synthesizer, Sterilization Chamber, and Pharma Mixer for the complete chemical chain.
  5. Build the Vaccine Maker after obtaining reliable strain evidence.

Infection research

Use the Centrifuge to separate blood, the Incubator to cultivate viable samples, and the Microscope to calibrate and reveal biological evidence. A Live Culture Vial intentionally hides most strain details; proper instruments and information items such as Gene Imprint and CRISPR Notes are the intended path to knowledge.

Treatment and containment

Treatments are specialized:

Use Medical Mask, Protective Gloves, thermal harnesses, and the complete HazCure set to control exposure. Locate invisible hazards with the Area Contamination Scanner and entrance scanners, then clean rooms with Decontamination Flask or Air Vent.

Important expectations

  • The incubation period delays symptoms and mutations; an apparently healthy subject may still be infected.
  • Walls matter to airborne spread. Doors and open passages connect rooms.
  • Contact and environmental infections can remain on blocks.
  • Infected food, animal products, drinks, samples, needles, and crafting ingredients can carry a strain onward.
  • Better vaccine quality improves treatment reliability and protection duration, but a matching sequence alone does not guarantee a cure.
