Deutsch: Assistent Prompt-Optimierer

The "Prompt Optimizer" improves a prompt along a structured guideline, and gives you recommendations for your next prompts. Use it before you give an important prompt to the chat, or to write a system prompt for a chat template.

How to use it

  1. Open "Assistants" → "Prompt Optimizer".
  2. Enter your prompt, or describe what it should do, under "Prompt or prompt description". You can also load it with "Load the prompt from file".
  3. Optional:
    • "Language for the optimized prompt": without a choice, the optimized prompt keeps the language of your input.
    • "(Optional) Important Aspects for the prompt": what the optimized prompt should emphasize, such as the structure of the answer or constraints.
  4. Choose a provider, and click "Optimize prompt".

The result

The result is the optimized prompt. Below "Recommendations for your prompt", six fields give advice for your future prompts, along the default guideline:

  • "Be clear and direct"
  • "Add examples and context"
  • "Use sequential steps"
  • "Structure with markers"
  • "Give the model a role"
  • "Choose prompt language deliberately"

"View default prompt guide" shows the whole guideline. It's in English.

Then:

  • "Improve further" moves the optimized prompt back into the input field, so you can optimize it again.
  • "Send to ..." → "New Chat" puts the optimized prompt into the input field of a new chat, without sending it yet.

Your own guideline

Does your team have its own rules for prompts? Switch on "Use custom prompt guide", and attach your guideline as a file. "View" shows its content. The assistant then optimizes along your guideline. The recommendation fields don't apply in this case.

Options

In "Assistant: Prompt Optimizer Options", "Preselect prompt optimizer options?" lets you start with your preferred language, important aspects, and provider.
