Assistant SWOT Analysis
Deutsch: Assistent SWOT-Analyse
The "SWOT Analysis" assistant finds strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in your material, for a company, a project, an organization, or a person. It analyzes the four categories at the same time, reconciles them, and writes an overall assessment with prioritized actions.
The analysis uses only your input, your attached documents, and the results of the tools you choose; it doesn't rely on general knowledge. Treat the result as a first draft and check it before you base decisions on it.
- Open "Assistants" → "SWOT Analysis".
- Under "Input", describe what to analyze in "Subject of analysis". You can also load a file, or read a web page with "Read content from web?"; see Assistants.
- Under "Analysis Options":
- "Analysis goal": the decision or plan the analysis should support. Required.
- "(Optional) Analysis focus": topics the analysis should pay particular attention to.
- Under "Contextual Knowledge", attach documents with data about the inside and the outside view, such as reports, figures, or market studies. Images are included if the model can read them.
- Optional: choose a "Target language". By default, the analysis keeps the language of your material.
- Choose a provider, and click "Create SWOT analysis".
If you select tools, such as Web Search, the assistant first researches with them, then analyzes.
A grid shows the four categories, "Strengths", "Weaknesses", "Opportunities", and "Threats", and fills each one as soon as its findings are ready. Then the assistant reconciles the four and writes the overall assessment. If one category fails, the others stay visible.
- The SWOT matrix with short findings in each quadrant.
- An overall assessment that weighs the categories against your goal and names uncertainties.
- Prioritized actions, each with its reason and the findings it addresses.
- The findings of each category with explanations.
- Notes on what the assistant changed while reconciling the categories.
Copy or export the result to get it as Markdown, with the matrix as a table.
In "Assistant: SWOT Analysis Options", you can hide the web content reader, and with "Preselect SWOT analysis options?", start with your preferred target language, analysis focus, web content reader, content cleaner, and provider.
- The more concrete your material, the better the analysis. Attach figures and reports instead of describing them.
- A clear "Analysis goal", such as "Should we enter the market in Austria?", leads to more useful actions than a general one.
- A powerful model gives better results here, because the assistant runs several steps.
