Deutsch: Assistent E-Mail

The "E-Mail" assistant writes an e-mail from a few bullet points: you say what the e-mail should contain, and the assistant phrases it in the style and language you choose. It can also reply to a previous message.

How to use it

  1. Open "Assistants" → "E-Mail".
  2. Replying to a message? Switch on "Is there a history, a previous conversation?", and paste the previous e-mail or chat under "Previous conversation".
  3. Fill in:
    • "(Optional) The greeting phrase to use", for example, "Dear Colleagues".
    • "Your bullet points": the content of the e-mail, one point per line, each starting with a dash (-).
    • "(Optional) Are any of your points particularly important?": choose points the e-mail should stress. The list fills itself from your bullet points.
    • "(Optional) Your name for the closing salutation".
    • "Select the writing style": "Business formal", "Business informal", "Academic", or "Personal".
    • "Target language": the language of the e-mail. "Other" lets you enter any language under "Custom target language".
  4. Choose a provider, and click "Create email".

The result

The e-mail, ready to copy into your mail program. If you use a profile, the assistant takes it into account, for example, your role.

Options

In "Assistant: Writing E-Mails Options", "Preselect e-mail options?" lets you start with your preferred greeting, name, target language, writing style, profile, and provider.

Tips

  • Write the bullet points in any language; the e-mail comes in the target language.
  • When you send a text from another assistant to this one, it lands in "Your bullet points". Start each line with a dash before you continue.
