Covalence Dusts

Applies to Equivalent Legacy 1.1.0+ for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge).

Covalence Dusts are cheap crafting materials that open the door to the mod's storage and travel items. There are three grades: Low, Medium and High.

How to get them (each recipe makes 40):

  • Low Covalence Dust: 1 charcoal + 8 cobblestone.
  • Medium Covalence Dust: 1 iron ingot + 1 redstone dust.
  • High Covalence Dust: 1 diamond + 1 coal.

They are used in:

Like any item with an EMC value, they can also be learned and burned in a Transmutation Table if you have spares.

Hidden abilities

  • Covalence Dusts have no special power of their own; they are pure crafting ingredients.
  • The Low recipe is the cheapest way to turn cobblestone into something useful, so it is a good early sink for all the cobblestone you will mine.

Server settings: burning dusts returns 50% of their EMC by default, controlled by server.difficulty.covalenceLoss.

Recipes: equivalent_legacy:low_covalence_dust, equivalent_legacy:medium_covalence_dust, equivalent_legacy:high_covalence_dust
