Fuels and Fuel Blocks
Applies to Equivalent Legacy 1.1.0+ for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge).
The mod adds three refined fuels, each stronger than the last. They are used to craft high-tier items and to feed Energy Collectors.
How to get them:
- Alchemical Coal: 1 Philosopher's Stone + 4 coal.
- Mobius Fuel: 1 Philosopher's Stone + 4 Alchemical Coal.
- Aeternalis Fuel: 1 Philosopher's Stone + 4 Mobius Fuel.
The Philosopher's Stone is not consumed in these recipes.
Fuel blocks: craft 9 of any fuel into a block, or break the block back down. Fuel blocks are compact storage and are valid collector fuel, so they are a tidy way to stock a collector.
Using them:
- Put a fuel in a collector's upgrade slot and the collector will upgrade it one tier at a time using its stored EMC.
- Burn them in a Transmutation Table for EMC like any other item.
- Alchemical Coal is also used to craft Nova Catalysts and other mid-game recipes.
Hidden abilities
- Aeternalis Fuel is the base material for Dark Matter, so a steady fuel supply is the real bottleneck of the mid-game.
- Collector fuel upgrades are automatic: with the right ghost target, a collector converts coal all the way up to Aeternalis while you do other things.
Server settings: the burn ratio applies as with any item (server.difficulty.covalenceLoss).
