Gem Helmet

Applies to Equivalent Legacy 1.1.0+ for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge).

The Gem Helmet, also called the Abyss Helmet, is the first piece of the end-game Gem Armor set. Craft it from a Red Matter Helmet, an Evertide Amulet, a Soul Stone and a fully charged Klein Star Omega. In this version the Omega must be full before it can be used in the recipe.

While worn it slowly heals you, and it can grant Night Vision. Press Shift + X to toggle Night Vision.

Hidden abilities

• Heals 1 HP (half a heart) every 10 seconds.
• Night Vision lasts as long as the toggle is on. Turning it off only removes the helmet's own Night Vision, never one from a potion or beacon.
• The whole Gem set reduces damage by roughly 63% and each piece blocks a flat amount per hit.
• R (with an empty hand and the offensive state on) calls down lightning where you look, up to 120 blocks away. Offensive abilities are disabled by default.
