Rings & Amulets

Applies to Equivalent Legacy 1.1.0+ for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge).

Rings, bands and amulets are the passive gadgets of Equivalent Legacy. Most are built on an Iron Band, crafted from iron and a source of lava.

How they work

• Most are switched on and off with G. A few use right-click or Shift + right-click, as noted in their entry.
• While active they usually drain EMC from your available EMC each tick. If it runs out, they switch themselves off.
• They only work while in your hotbar, off-hand or a Regalia (curio) slot. Items left in your backpack do nothing.
• Put them in a curio slot so they keep working with both hands free. See Regalia Slots.
• Many also gain a special function when placed on a Dark Matter Pedestal, usually repeating on a timer.

Hidden abilities

• Keep a charged Klein Star, or plenty of learned EMC, available so active rings never run dry mid-fight.
• Several rings can be combined into stronger items, such as the Void Ring and the Ring of Arcana.
