Applies to Equivalent Legacy 1.1.0+ for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge).

Dark Matter and Red Matter are the mod's signature materials. Almost every advanced tool, weapon, armor piece and machine is built from them.

How to get them:

• Dark Matter: 8 Aeternalis Fuel around 1 diamond block.
• Red Matter: 6 Aeternalis Fuel around 3 Dark Matter.
• Matter Blocks: craft 4 matter into a block, or break the block back into 4.

Matter Blocks are building blocks. They are extremely tough, glow with light, and can only be mined with a Dark or Red Matter tool of the right tier. They are the main ingredient of the Matter Furnaces, the Dark Matter Pedestal and the late-game machines.

Hidden abilities

• Both matter items and blocks are fireproof, so they survive lava.
• Matter Blocks emit light, which makes them handy for marking your base.
• Matter is used both as a material and as fuel for the higher-tier crafting recipes for tools, armor and condensers.
