Applies to Equivalent Legacy 1.1.0+ for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge).

Dark Matter Armor is the first alchemical armor tier. Craft each piece from Dark Matter, then upgrade it later into Red Matter Armor.

Each piece works like normal armor but never loses durability. Wearing the whole set reduces incoming damage by roughly 56%, and every piece soaks up a flat amount of damage from each hit. That flat blocking is stronger against explosions, and boots help with falls while the helmet helps with drowning.

Hidden abilities

• The pieces are fireproof, so they survive lava.
• Damage that bypasses armor is not reduced at all.
• Wearing only part of the set grants only that piece's share of the bonus.
