Red Katar

Applies to Equivalent Legacy 1.1.0+ for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge).

The Red Katar is the ultimate Red Matter weapon. Craft it from a Red Matter Sword, Axe, Hoe and Shears plus Red Matter. It deals twenty-three attack damage and has four charge levels.

Press G to choose Slay Hostile or Slay All, V to charge and C for its extra function.

Hidden abilities

• At a full attack bar, press C to unleash a death aura around you, dealing the server's Katar Death Aura damage (12 by default, ignores armor) to every valid target; the radius grows with charge.
• In Slay All mode the aura also hits passive mobs.
• Holding right-click raises the katar as a shield to block attacks.
• Right-click shears all shearable mobs in an area, doubling drops with a 1% chance of a random baby clone.
• It is a whole toolbox: it strips, scrapes, dewaxes and tills in an area, fells trees, clears leaves and sweeps like a sword.
