Finance Transaction Manager Dashboard
The Financial Transaction Manager is the central hub for all cashier and finance operations. It organises tools into tabbed sections so cashiers, supervisors, and finance staff can quickly access the operations relevant to their role. The dashboard view shows the cashier's current shift status, drawer balance, and quick-action buttons.
Main Menu → Financial Transaction Manager
When you open the Financial Transaction Manager, the top of the page shows:
| Panel | Information Shown |
|---|---|
| Shift Status | Whether a shift is currently open, and the shift start time |
| Drawer Balance | Current drawer balance (total and by payment method) |
| Today's Collections | Running total of bills collected in this shift |
| Float Balance | Current float amount in drawer |
The Financial Transaction Manager is organised into the following tabs:
| Tab | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Shift | Start/end shift, record shortage/excess, shift summary |
| Drawer | View drawer balance, request adjustment |
| Float Management | Float transfers, float requests, IOU management |
| Income and Expense | Supplementary income/expense bills |
| Credit Company | CC bill management and settlement |
| Patient Deposit | Manage patient pre-paid deposits |
| Reports | Access to cashier and financial reports |
Depending on your role, quick-action buttons appear on the dashboard for the most common tasks:
- Start Shift — if no shift is open
- Collect Payment — open a new OPD or inpatient payment
- Float Transfer — initiate a cash transfer
- End Shift — if a shift is open and you want to close it

| Senior Cashier | All cashier tabs + Credit Company |
| Finance Manager | All tabs + Reports |
