Inpatient Analytics

Overview

The Inpatient Analytics page is the central hub for all inpatient reports. It provides one-click access to admission reports, BHT summary reports, income reports, pharmacy reports, and professional payment reports — organised in collapsible accordion panels by report type.

Report Categories

The reports are organised into tabbed accordion panels:

Admission Reports

Report Purpose
Admission Report List admissions with filters for institution, site, department, consultant, and date range
Admission Report by Consultant Same as admission report but grouped by consultant
Admission Detail By Admitted Date Admission book showing admissions grouped by admission date
Discharge Detail By Discharged Date Discharge book showing discharges grouped by discharge date
Balance Payment Report Shows pending balance payments for discharged patients
Balance Payment Report (Credit) Shows pending balance payments for credit company patients

BHT Summary Reports

Report Purpose
Inward Charge Type Summary by BHT Summary of charge types for each BHT
Inward Charge Type Breakdown by BHT Detailed breakdown of charge types per BHT
BHT Bill Summary Reprint Reprint BHT bill summaries
BHT Inward Charge Category Report Charges grouped by category per BHT
BHT Income By Categories (Individual/All) Income broken down by charge categories for individual or all BHTs
BHT Vice Income by Categories Vice income grouped by categories
Discount Report Discounts applied to inpatient bills
BHT VAT Report VAT breakdown for inpatient bills
BHT Break Down (TAB/Table Format) Full BHT bill breakdown in tabular format
Inpatient Invoice Journal Invoice journal for inpatient bills

Income Reports

Report Purpose
Inward Income By Date Inward income grouped by date
Inward Income By Categories Income grouped by charge categories
Room Income Income from room charges
Timed Service Income Income from timed services (room rent, oxygen, etc.)
Service Income Income from services and procedures
Professional Fee Income Income from professional/consultant fees
Pharmacy Income Income from pharmacy issues
Outside Charge Income Income from outside/external charges

Pharmacy Reports

Report Purpose
Pharmacy BHT Issue By Item Pharmacy issues to BHTs grouped by item
BHT Issue By Bill Pharmacy issues grouped by bill
Inpatient Pharmacy Item List Full list of pharmacy items issued to inpatients
Inpatient Lab Investigation Item List Full list of lab investigations ordered for inpatients
Inpatient Service Item List Full list of services ordered for inpatients

Professional Payment Reports

Report Purpose
Professional Payment Report Professional fee payments made to doctors
Professional Payment Due Report Professional fees pending payment
Doctor Payment Report Payments grouped by doctor
Doctor Payment Summary Summarised doctor payments

How to Use

  1. From the main menu, go to InpatientPharmacyInpatient Analytics, or click Inpatient Analytics from the Admission Profile's Reports panel
  2. The page opens with accordion panels for each report category
  3. Click on a report category tab (e.g., "Admission Reports") to expand it and see the available reports
  4. Click the desired report button to navigate to that report's filter page
  5. Each report has its own filter parameters (date range, institution, department, etc.) — apply the desired filters and run the report

Admission Profile Access

When accessed from the Admission Profile dashboard via Reports → Inpatient Analytics, the analytics page opens with the context of the current BHT. Reports that support BHT-level filtering (such as BHT Income By Categories Individual BHT) will be pre-filtered to the selected admission.


Permissions

Access to the Inpatient Analytics page requires the InwardPharmacyMenu privilege. Individual reports within the page may require additional privileges.
