Who gets it: Seleucid Empire, Seleucid Rebels (Asia Minor) and Seleucid Rebels (Upper Satrapies)
Hail Basileios, we are well and hope to find you well, Agathe Tyche. A storm from the east has ravaged our lands. The Barbarians our philosophers call Parnoi have ruthlessly attacked our cities, stolen our cattle and enslaved good Greek citizens. But, there is good news, Zeus Olympios has led your generals to victory! They have learnt that the enemy uses a cavalry clad in metal plates, which we now call Kataphraktoi. It seems sensible to copy this style of fighting, so if you agree, mighty king, you may recruit our own regiment of these beasts now.
It fires when at least 5 battles have been fought by Seleucid Empire, against Parni.
The game checks this at the end of every round.
2 units can be recruited once it fires:
| Unit | Who can raise it |
|---|---|
| Seleucid Cataphracts | Free Peoples |
| Seleucid General's Bodyguard (Late) | Free Peoples |
