Luve LimeLight
Member of the EverAfters of HemsHollow. Luve LimeLight is the stealer of the stage. It does not matter whose turn it is, whose story it is, or how small her part was meant to be: the moment Luve steps out, every eye in the square swings round to her, and the other EverAfters have long since given up minding. She is small, sparkly and impossible to ignore, with a laugh like a dropped tray of spoons, and she has stolen the show from every one of them more times than they can count. But she always gives it back. Luve steals the stage only to hand it, glowing, to whoever needs it most, a nervous Patchling, a shy teller, a tired friend, and then she slips back into the wings to watch them shine.
The Limelight. Wherever Luve points, a warm beam of light follows, and whatever it falls on becomes, for as long as it lasts, the most fascinating thing in Threadbare: a teller, a teacup, a frightened Patchling, a single word. No one can look away from the Limelight, and no one has ever wanted to. When the Void creeps close and the colour starts to drain from the square, Luve turns it on the East Wall, and the grey backs away from the light.
