Milla MoonMime
Member of the EverAfters of HemsHollow. Milla MoonMime is the mime of the moonlit hours. She takes the stage when the moon is high and the other voices are tired, and she tells her stories without a single word. With nothing but her hands, her face and her long moonlit shadow, she can conjure a storm at sea, a dragon's courtship or a whole kingdom's coronation, and the night listeners on the Rota would not trade her for any voice in Threadbare. She is modest about it, as mimes must be. But Milla knows the difference between a silence full of story and the empty silence of the Void, and every night she fills the square with the first kind.
The Moonshadow Show. By moonlight, Milla's shadow grows until it spills across the wagon's canvas and the rooftops of HemsHollow, acting out her story at the size of a giant. And the things she mimes become, for a moment, real enough to see: the invisible door swings open, the imaginary rope can be pulled, and the dragon's breath is warm on your cheek. No one leaves a Moonshadow Show before the moon goes down.
