Click any photo to open it full size.

Navigating

• ← / → (or Space) move through the photos you opened it from, such as one month, a search result or a person's photos.
• Esc or the back arrow returns to where you were.
• Toolbar buttons: show/hide face boxes (F), tag a missed face, show the photo in its folder, open it in your default app, and show/hide the info panel (I).

The info panel

It shows the date taken, size, file name and folder, then People: one row for every face found. Each row lists what RulZ worked out:

For example Smiling · Facing camera · Standing. These tags are estimates, see Search and Filters.

Correcting a face

Click a face box (or its row in the panel) to open a menu:

Choice	Meaning
Who is this? / This is someone else...	Pick a person or type a new name.
Name this person...	Give an unnamed group a name.
Confirm it's {name}	Lock the automatic guess so it's never moved.
Not {name}	Remove it from that person.
Go to {name}	Open their page.
Not a face / ignore	Hide a false detection.

Tag a face that wasn't found

Faces that are tiny, turned away, blurred or covered can be missed.

1. Click the Tag a face button (person with a plus).
2. Drag a box around the face.
3. Choose who it is.

RulZ measures the expression, direction and pose for your box too, and the face is treated like any other from then on. A face you tagged can be removed again from its menu (Remove this face tag).
