Factions
An ultratech colonists society from Obsidia planet, organized along military lines. They lived for thousands of years in their home solar system, researching and using the rarest materials in their technologies. But having reached a peak in researchment, it was time for them to leave their homeworld and begin a galactic expansion!
They also reject the rest of the factions, and in order to open trade, you must first gain their trust.
They were once part ultratech colonists society from Obsidia planet, organized along military lines. Having rejected Obsidia Empire, many different factions were formed, but over time, only three main directions survived, which united into Obsidia Drifter Clans.
Change is sudden, violent, and a necessary force to ensure the planet can return to a state of growth. Obsidia Syndicate Clan see themselves as merely the instrument of this change. Their goal is to raiding and robbing their more productive neighbors.
Obsidia Renegade Clan are sworn protectors of what little remains of the free colonies. Their goal is to restore order by bringing prosperity and direction to the violent world.
Obsidia Pilgrim Clan embody the cold vacuum of space - heartless and bent on taking anything left unprotected. Driven by profits.
Their goal is to enrich themselves by trading with hi-tech neighbors.
The ancient and dangerous cult of Obsidia, worshiping Arachnas as deities, was completely exterminated many centuries ago... But Crimson Arachna Cult survived, the surviving followers hid in the dark depths and shadows of the streets, step by step putting down the roots of their influence on Obsidia and its colonies. Having absorbed enough influence, power and technology, the cult again revealed itself to the world in order to exterminate all the infidels!
The cult completely rejects any relationship, other than hostility, with other factions.
The Obsidia Mercenary Gangs were once the elite force of the Obsidia Empire Heroes. Forsaking vengeance, they splintered into gangs, embracing the life of mercenaries far from the heart of Obsidia. Centuries later, their influence can no longer be ignored, even by the Empire that discarded them. They employ any means necessary-technological, tactical, or raw power-to serve their trusted clientele, securing their place among the galaxy’s most feared and reliable soldiers of fortune.
This group of the chosen ones, they saved, protected and inspired the entire Empire, they were a true sword and an unshakable shield for everyone - Obsidia Empire Heroes... But they were called so before, now they are forgotten, rejected and abandoned by their own Empire and the people for whom they did everything - Eidolons... They no longer bathe in the rays of their own glory, but having gained hatred they have found a new goal - themselves.
Chaos Slime Horde
Chaos Slimes have begun to coalesce into massive, writhing masses, wandering across the planet in seemingly mindless marches. These towering hordes dominate everything in their path, though their erratic behavior defies any known logic.
The reason for their strange actions remains unknown - perhaps it is simply the nature of Chaos Slimes. However, some eyewitnesses claim to have seen humans walking among the slimes unharmed, as if the creatures recognize them or purposefully avoid them.
