Obsidia beacons
|
The Ancient Obsidia Beacon was previously used in the old wars to call for reinforcements. This very old device is running at an unknown frequency and all serial numbers have been erased. So it's impossible to determine who will respond to this beacon. Mechanitor is required to use this device. |

Important
- Beacon can be activated by a mechanitor to summon the hostile force, which will drop a Compressed syntherius when defeated. This destroys the beacon, turning it into: 10x Obsidian, 5x Mythril and 5x Syntherius
- It cannot be used in the time between another hostile force or mech boss being summoned and that force arriving. In addition, there is a 2 day cooldown between summoning any hostile force or mech boss, regardless of when the hostile force actually arrive.
Warning
- Each time an beacon is activated, the size of the hostile force will increase.
- The Ancient Obsidia Beacon can summon multiple variants of hostile forces. The strength of each variant depends on how many times that specific hostile force has been summoned, rather than the total number of summons made with the beacon. Available hostile force variants include variants below.

Crimson Arachna beacon used to imitate the call signal of the Crimson Arachna Cult mech army. Signal will attract an ultra-heavy Arachna Queen mechanoid with its Arachna escorts, in the worst case, a Crimson Arachna can react to the signal. The signal pulse burns out the transmitter, so this building can only be used once. Mechanitor is required to use this device. |

Operating on a bizarre, irregular frequency unseen in any known spectrum, the Anomaly Obsidia Beacon is rumored to reach beyond our reality to the dark heart of Obsidia itself. When activated, the beacon transmits an ominous call, luring powerful and hostile Entities from Obsidia’s shadowed depths. Though highly unstable, its pulse can breach dimensions and summon one or more unknown creatures, each bound by no allegiance and driven by a ferocious will to hunt. Once triggered, the beacon fractures and self-destructs, making it a single-use artifact whose signal can never be precisely controlled—nor its consequences predicted. Mechanitor is required to use this device. |
