Add support for xz compression
Revisit 2015-04_Meeting#RFE_Add_support_for_xz_compression. Has there been any update on the status of the xz PHP module?
As no progress was seen on this unofficial and unmaintained PHP extension, we won't implement this.
Proposal to close these issues
- https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues/5827 (partly implemented)
- https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues/10920 (no feedback)
--Lem9 01:34, 29 July 2015 (CEST)
Most issues were closed, except a few deemed relevant.
Minimum disclosure mode
Some of the requests in https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues/5726 can be satisfied with the configurable menus, but some do not related to menus. Should we offer a "minimum disclosure" mode?
--Lem9 14:56, 3 August 2015 (CEST)
It looks appropriate to offer an easy to configure minimimum disclosure mode.
Mailing lists on sf.net
I suggest to delete or hide all those old mailing lists.

We agree to delete them; Isaac will attempt to do so.
How about tagging some issues which look easy to fix for newbies? I sometimes get questions about such issue and try to find one, but tagging them while receiving might be better approach. The Tasks_for_junior_developers contains no useful information for newbies at all...
--Nijel 15:36, 11 August 2015 (CEST)
We'll assign a "newbie" tag to easy and not urgent issues. The team should not fix them, but we'll see what happens (if no newbie works on them, we might revisit the tag).
