Channel Summary Collection Report
The Summary Collection Report lists every channelling bill a cashier settled during one shift. Bills are grouped by payment method, so you can check the cash drawer, the card machine batch and the agent slips separately at the end of the shift.
Menu → Channelling → Reports → Income Reports → Service Category User Shift Wise
- Enter the From and To dates and select the User (the cashier).
- Click Process. The cashier's shifts are listed with their start and end times.
- On the shift you want, click Summary Collection Report.
Requires the ChannelReports privilege.

Shift filters on top; Category and Payment Method filters with Apply Filters, Export to Excel and Print on one row; then one section per payment method with its own subtotals. (Sample data, names masked.)
The cashier, the shift start and end times, who processed the report and when.
Each payment method used in the shift gets its own section, for example:
| Section | Extra columns |
|---|---|
| Cash | – |
| Card (Credit/Debit) | Card Ref No, Bank |
| Agent Payment | Agent, Agent Ref No |
| Credit, Online Settlement, Cheque, Slip and others | – |
| Multiple Payment Methods | One column per method used (for example Cash and Card), plus Collected |
The Card section covers both credit and debit cards.
Every section shows the Bill No, Appointment Date, Created date and time, Doctor / Consultant, Patient Name, Hospital Fee, Doctor Fee, Total Fee and Status. Status is one of:
- Active
- Cancelled or Refunded: the original booking, later reversed.
- Cancellation or Refund: the reversing bill itself, shown with negative amounts.
Status is shown in red for anything other than Active. The subtotals at the foot of each section cover every bill in the section. The report is not split into pages.
Totals per appointment date: appointments, total amount, doctor fee, hospital fee, and one column per payment method collected.
- One line per payment method collected, for example Total Cash Collection and Total Card (Credit/Debit) Collection.
- Grand Total Collection: the sum of those lines.
- Total valid appointments, cancel and refund collection, and cancel and refund counts.
A bill paid with Multiple Payment Methods is split across its methods here. For example, a bill paid partly in cash and partly by card adds its cash part to the Cash line and its card part to the Card line.
Spaces for the cashier's signature, the handover date and time, and the name and signature of the person receiving the handover.
After opening the report, choose filters in the row above the report and click Apply Filters (Export to Excel and Print are on the same row):
- Category: only sessions of the selected service categories.
- Payment Method: only bills paid by the selected methods. A Multiple Payment Methods bill is included when any part of it matches. Only the matching part is counted in the collection totals. For example, with Credit Card selected, a bill paid partly in cash and partly by card shows in the Multiple Payment Methods section. Only its card part counts towards the Card collection, so the total matches the card machine batch.
If nothing matches the filters, the report says No bills match the selected filters for this shift. It stays open, so you can change the filters.
Agent bookings that the cashier entered at the counter are included. Bookings made by agents through the online booking service belong to no cashier's shift, so they do not appear here. Use the agent reports for those.
- Print prints the report, including the summary and signature block.
-
Export to Excel downloads a workbook with two sheets:
- Detail sheet: one block per payment method, each with its subtotal.
- Summary sheet: the by-date summary, the collection lines and the grand total.
